Our Favorite Blonde/Brunette Celeb Reversals!

#1 Jennifer Lawrence

It's interesting what hair color can do - the once Blonde Jennifer Lawrence took the world by storm in 'The Hunger Games' (2012). We think the serious bow and arrow welding, Katniss Everdeen was brilliantly actualized as a Brunette.

#2 Angelina's Dramatic Transformations

We've seen Angelina in-character film roles with flaxen hair. There are 'Girl, Interrupted' (1999) and 'Salt' (2010), and we much prefer her with the richness of dark brown tresses, which compliments her striking features and lends to her enigmatic personality.

#3 The Incarnations of Reese Witherspoon

This gal is a beauty donning both extremes of blonde and brunette hair color, and we especially loved her as the brown-haired, June Carter in 'Walk the Line' (2005) for which she won an Oscar.

#4 Will the Real Dita Von Teese, please Stand-up?

Dita Von Teese was born with name, Heather Renée Sweet.. and she does look truly "sweet" as pictured during her early Blonde years. Today though, she's gained much success and notoriety for her current allusion as a raven haired temptress.

#5 Amy Adams: the Character Actor

Although we haven't seen the usually strawberry-blonde actress, Amy Adams as a truly dark-haired brunette, she wore a deep rich auburn shade that complimented her fair-skin and blue eyes in the film, 'The Master' (2012).

#6 Katy Perry: the Chameleon!

Actors often change hair shades to fit a character role but the pop star singer, Katy Perry does so perhaps to fit her mood like changing outfits. Her locks looks great as both blonde or brunette... or even purple, blue or pink.

#7 Dakota Fanning Goes Brunette!

It has been recently reported that the, 'The Twilight Saga' and 'The Runaways' actor, Dakota Fanning has traded in her trademark blonde and "officially crossed over to the dark side" as a brunette!

#8 Scarlett Johansson: Dramatically Changed

Why did she drastically transform her golden locks to be raven? It was for her role as The Black Widow in 'Iron Man 2' (2010). She says about the film's casting, "... I think subconsciously I had decided to dye my hair, hoping they'd give me a call." Well done Scarlett, they sure did!

#9 The Evolution of Emma Stone

It might be puzzling when Emma Stone's hair shade evolves from one shade to the next. With each phase from blonde to vibrant auburn she looks familiar but yet... not. The switch in color worked successfully for her role, in 'The Amazing Spider-Man' (2012).

#10 Keira Knightly: Good Looks Define Her

Knightly's goddess facial features are distinguished, and they shine through no matter what her hair color is: blonde, red or brunette. She is a perfect muse for fashion designers as well as film directors!
