Real Ghosts

#1 She's Known As, 'The Brown Lady'

Photographers assigned to document, Raynham Hall in Norfolk, England for 'Country Life' in 1936, surprisingly captured a ghost thought to be Lady Dorothy Townshend. The story goes that although her funeral was held in 1726, her husband Charles Townshend, really had her locked away within the mansion. A female apparition has since "haunted" visitors while wearing the infamous long brown dress.

#2 Willard Library: Ghost Cam I

The 110 y/o public library building in Indiana, U.S.A. has set up "Ghost Cams" after reported ghost sightings and hauntings. This gif shows an animation sequence of images taken 30 sec. apart. Check out how the open book on the desk, closes by itself! The running Ghost Cam can be viewed on the website: libraryghost.com

#3 Willard Library: Ghost Cam II

Another image was captured with the library's Ghost Cam. What looks to be a child clearly doesn't appear to be as solid as the guy next to it or "her". Does the ghostly child seem to be a girl to you? Eww.. and she's looking dead straight at the cam!

#4 Haunted National Maritime Museum, London

Rev. Ralph Hardy developed his photo of the elegant spiral staircase, "Tulip Staircase" in 1966. The eery shrouded figure climbing the stairs that seems to hold the railing with both hands wasn't what he and those at Kodak were expecting. Although to this day, the 400 y/o museum building is well-known with haunted stories including the unexplained choral chanting of children!

#5 A Ghost Came Home With The New TV

This guy came home with a new TV and DVD surround sound system, after setting it up he proudly took a photo. No one was home, but he captured a reflection of an unknown person reflected on the TV screen! Later in the evening his cat acted oddly, hissing and remaining in the bathroom overnight. The next day, his hot water pipes became undone.. not a plumbing burst, but as if someone manually dismantled them.
